The Lianga Water District sends 12 delegates to participate the Mindanao Association of Water Districts Sport fest 2017 on May 2-5, 2017 at the City of Koronadal, South Cotabato. The said sports fest was participated by 28 water districts in a Mindanao Wide. The LIWAD team victoriously clinched the 1^st Place for 200 M dash (Men) and 2^nd Place for 5-Men Bakya Race.
