Broke barriers and strengthened the ties among water district employees in Surigao del Sur depicts this years’ 6th SURWADA Sportsfest with a theme: “Soaring High Amidst the Challenges of Sustainability and Climate Change.” On October 16 and 17, 2019 the SURWADA members water districts competed the various sports activities for this years’ sportsfest hosted by Hinatuan Water District. The team and their designated colors, to wit: Bislig City WD (Blue), Tagbina-Barobo WD (White), Lianga WD (Green & Yellow), Tandag City WD (Black), Cantilan-Madrid-Carmen WD (). It was a tough fight for Lianga Water District to settle a 1st Runner-up of the overall points and the events won are as follows:
