The Lianga Water District (LIWAD) through its commitment of providing efficient and effective water service to the consuming public, the same will not put into reality without the collective effort of its workforce. Just as public servants are duty bound to serve the populace with utmost integrity in order to build a high-trust society become an opportunity to us in celebrating the 119th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service, in line with the theme: “CIVIL SERVICE AT 119: UPHOLDING INTEGRITY AND BUILDING A HIGH-TRUST SOCIETY.” Through this the district undertook parallel activities, to wit: On September 2, 2019 is the Raising of PCSA 2019 tarpaulin at LIWAD conspicuous place, September 6, 2019 @ 9:30 a.m. is the Thanksgiving Mass solemnly commemorated by Reverent Father Nelson Espinola, DCT at LIWAD office, September 9, 2019 after the Flag Ceremony is the Renewal of Oath of office by 23 employees took before BOD Chairperson Editha C. Mosquera, M.D. as the administering officer, the Sports fest was participated by 4 teams namely: Red Team (headed by Gemma P. Doroja), Green Team (headed by Floricita G. Tejero), Blue Team (headed by Jema A. Esplana), and Yellow Team (headed by Romeo S. Ranara) from September 16 to 23, 2019 in different venues, and a get together Family Day slated on September 30, 2019 at Green Bay Beach Resort, Pugad, Payasan, Lianga Surigao del Sur which was graced by Honorable Mayor Novelita M. Sarmen, RN who enlightened us her Inspirational Message.
The whole month was fun-filled and marked a never ending joy to LIWAD family that being one strengthens the whole.
