The Lianga Water District (LIWAD) celebrated its 37^th FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY at Microfinance for Rural Development, Inc., Lianga, Surigao del Sur on December 3, 2016 with a theme: “Sufficient Supply of Safe and Potable Water: Key to Financial Viability of the Water Industry.” Congressman of 1^st District of Surigao del Sur Hon. Prospero A. Pichay, Jr. is the Keynote Speaker of the occasion branded LIWAD as united and strong public servants and ready to face challenges which in the future became their weapon for a sustainable service to the populace.
