Sanchez, General Manager of Lianga Water District apprized to the body the CSC Memorandum Circular No. 12 Series of 2017 dated: April 11, 2017, “117^th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.” All Government bodies were advised to conduct parallel activities in commemoration of the 117^th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary anchored with a theme: “Tugon sa Hamon ng Pagbabago: Malasakit ng Lingkod Bayani.” To wit:
 

• Raising of Banner– 1^st day of September 2017- The LIWAD management and employees observed to display the 117^th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary banner.

• Thanksgiving Mass – September 8, 2017 9:30 A.M. – LIWAD Administration office, Annex-A Market Mall, Lianga, Surigao del Sur

• Special Treat to LIWAD Employees – September 16-17, 2017- Mamay Inn and Resorts, Inc., Mamay Road, Lanang, Davao City. Special Treat is provided to LIWAD employees as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work and dedication of providing quality service to the populace.

• Family Day, Sports fest and Renewal of Oath of Office – September 25, 2017 – Lianga, Surigao del Sur.
